The housing need should be met other than as a by-product of huge numbers of market houses.
Building more houses in Purbeck does NOT reduce local house prices, it only increases desirability for outside investors.
Alternative ways of financing the housing need should be explored. Communities should have a say in determining their needs and local connections.
None of the proposed locations meets the needs and aspirations of those who live in Purbeck. Social housing should not be minimised or removed by viability considerations where Housing Associations can make more money from building non-Social Housing.
